74 Groups of Yogic Flyers in the World
In relation to the requirement for the Maharishi Effect per country 12th June 2009
http://www.purusha.de/numbers.htm
The Maharishi Effect for one country, or for one region, is achieved when the square root of 1% of the population is doing the TM-Sidhi programme including Yogic Flying together morning and evening under one roof. Europe, for example, has a population of 706 million (2009; see Appendix 3 for details). With just one group of 2657 Yogic Flyers, all negative trends in Europe will come to an end and evolutionary trends will be seen everywhere. The largest groups of Yogic Flyers in Europe are found in Holland, Great Britain, and in Germany (for details see below).

Disclaimer:
This is not an official publication of the Global Country of World Peace. It is a private summary of information about the growth of groups of Yogic Flyers worldwide, from private sources, from participants, and mostly from reports of the Rajas in the Global Family Chat. The real number of Yogic Flyers in groups may be less than stated here, because only the founding of these groups is in the news, but not their possible ending, especially in Latin America. All figures are always to the best of my knowledge. Responsible: Claus Gφtte, Uedem, Germany.

1804 1 billion (3333 Yogic Flyers needed for the world)

1960 3 billion (5478 Yogic Flyers needed for the world)
1974 4 billion (6325 Yogic Flyers needed for the world)
1987 5 billion (7072 Yogic Flyers needed for the world)
1999 6 billion (7746 Yogic Flyers needed for the world)
2012 7 billion (estimated in 2008) 8367 Yogic Flyers needed for the world
(For 2009, see appendix 5 6.751 billion)
Appendix 2 World Plan 1972
When Maharishi declared his World Plan in Mallorca on 12th January 1972, the world population had to be researched quickly, but the figures were only available in books which were always a few years behind. A world population of 3.6 billion was estimated, leading to the plan to establish 3600 World Plan Centers, one for each million of the population. Todays research says that in the beginning of 1972 the world population was 3.828 billion (which is 228 million people more than we thought at that time).
Appendix 3 How to calculate the population of Europe 706 million at 1.7.2009
The United Nations only take into account complete countries. Therefore 738 million is given in 2009 as Europes population, including the asian part of Russia (38 million people), and excluding the European part of Turkey (6.5 million people on the European side of Istanbul), and also excluding half a million on the European part of Kasakhstan. Therefore, if we want the strictly continental figure, we add half a million from Kasakhstan, plus 6.5 million from Turkey, and we deduct 38 million from Russia behind Ural mountains, which leads to 706 million people for all Europe, requiring 2657 Yogic Flyers in one place..
Appendix 4 Round numbers in China, India, USA
1 billion population in China had been reached in 1981 (and 1.3 billion in 2005; today 1.33 billion in 2009)
1 billion population in India had been reached on 12th May 2000 (now 1.16 billion, 1.1.2009)
300 million population in the USA had been reached on 17th October 2006 (now 306 million in 2009)
